Title: Gunners Mate
Post by: R.J.Bruce on August 07, 2019, 06:27:28 AM
With all the talk lately about hangfires and dry balls, I was wondering how many members have, and use, davec2's Gunners Mate flintlock multi-tool??

The bore-sized collars, which center all of the tools; especially the ball drill, and the ball screw, seem like a very intelligent design that should work extremely well.

Any thoughts??

Don't know this tool. Can you post pictures and who markets them and price?

The website is The Lucky Bag.

davec2 is the ALR member.

He is listed in the Member's Services section of this forum.

Incredible tool. I have one set up for both my .50 and my .69.
Taylor has one for his 16 bore Joseph Lang Rifle.

I am still waiting to see one in .30, .32 or .36 caliber, to fit my flintlocks.

Dave’s tool is brilliant, and mine goes with me whenever I go shooting. Well worth buying. Like a longrifle Swiss Army knife. God Bless, Marc
