Title: Lancaster style rifle
Post by: msellers on September 09, 2019, 08:11:09 AM
Ok all,
So I have finally jumped into the pool and started to work on my rifle build. It has progressed a bunch since asking for opinions and advice in the past year. It started as a short Leman, and is coming into its adolescence as a salvaged Sharon 36" barrel 50 cal inspired by a JJ Henry pictured in "For Trade and Treaty" it fits the components I have aquired much better. Is a nice mix of earlier architecture with later era components in a beautiful piece of curly maple. Slowly getting the existing barrel channel enlarged to fit the larger barrel, with barely enough wood left to make this a doable build.
