This one is about 7 1/2" long with a 2" butt. The plug is Pine held in with 4 Iron pins. It is covered with tin and it is held on by 8 Iron pins and the screw. It has a Brass Thimble on the tip to strengthen it, held by 2 Iron pins. Color is some Brown Dye and Brown shoe polish.
Didn't notice until I looked at the Pix below but with the Triangular stopper it reminds me of a Christmas tree in a wind storm.

Dang Tim. That is fantastic! Great filing, neat proportions, and nice finish. That metal butt sets it off just right. Totally unexpected horn. Well done. God bless, Marc
PS Needs a funky little Appalachian bag to go with it.

Wow. I can’t imagine the work that goes into that. I really like the color you achieved the use of tin and the thimble. That’s a really cool horn.
-
You’re a real hum-dinger, Tim!

I don't know how I missed this yesterday, I had so much going on that I didn't notice it. Yep, that thing just screams Appalachia and I have a "funky" Appalachian style bag to put that on. Thanks Tim, I know that was a labor of love.....

I can only imagine how much work that must have been. Great job!

Lot of work there, Tim. Thanks for sharing.

Super stuff Tim. As usual.

Neat little horn Tim. It must have been really thick to get those steps like that. What kind of metal did you use on the base plug?

It's a piece of old roofing tin.

Tim, very nice little horn, albeit with lots of filing involved. Nice touch with the metal on the plug.
-
Outstanding craftsmanship!

That's one heck of a lot of filing. Not only a lot of filing, but so well done.

A great chance to view that beauty again.
