Forged this one a couple of months ago but finally got around to finishing it yesterday. It is a Searles inspired Bowie. 9 1/4"x 1 1/2" x 3/16" 1084 hi carbon forged blade, 14" overall length with file worked oval nickel guard, rosewood handle, with coin silver bolster and end cap.

thank you gentlemen. The Searles has always been one of my favorite designs. I love the rosewood, but I am working towards attempting the actual Searles design with the ebony handle, the silver pins, checkering and intricate silver bolster and end cap. I think it will be a goal for 2nd half of 2020.
