I just received "The Broadside' (CLA news letter) and I saw the obituary of Richard Nicholas. Richard was a member of ALR and I was fortunate to have met him at the Winchester VA show a couple of years ago. Seemed to be a great guy and I enjoyed talking with him. Richard battled cancer for 10 years and he passed away March 28, 2009. Richard was a member of KRA, HCH and NMLRA. May those that mourn his death be comforted.

Dennis,
Bad news indeed. I never met Richard but sold him one of my first rifles I built a couple years ago. He was a gentleman all the way around...

Richard was a personal friend and shooting buddy. He was a first class man all the way around. I miss him. Rick

Richard contributed much to the fraternity and was a gentleman of the old school. He is missed.
