Title: Original Nock screwless lock
Post by: Justin Urbantas on February 04, 2020, 05:19:39 PM
I came across this gem the other day for sale.  Any opinions on the value in this condition?  It looks like it maybe had a flash guard that was cut off.
 It's fully functional. Thanks guys

For someone that needs a specific restoration that could be a high dollar item. Not many just collect locks and are willing to pay over $350. Restorers may if their clients want the real deal. To make one from scratch would cost in excess of $1000 I’d think.

Hi,
It is one of Nock's carbine or rifle locks and did have a flash guard.  It has no internal screws just pivots held together by the two plates.
