Title: Original primitive one piece bag
Post by: rich pierce on April 29, 2020, 11:30:57 PM
This is made of one piece of leather folded over and likely laced with leather by the looks of the side seams. The leather is very thick on the flap portion to keep it down, and the bag proper is much thinner. There is some remaining fine fringe along the sides. The straps are long gone but likely attached to the back with a button or similar arrangement. It had a long useful life evidenced by what appears to be baling twine repairs.
