Title: Small Tin Powder Container
Post by: Kevin on May 22, 2020, 10:34:45 PM
Greetings,

There were a few grains of powder bouncing around in this when it came my way a number of decades ago.

Enjoy,
Kevin

Very interesting little container.  Anyone feel comfortable venturing a guess at the age/date??

While I've never seen one with a date, based on construction of seams, I think most of them dated to around the 1860s and later. The ones I've seen are all rather small pocket tins, suggesting they were made for later, smaller bore guns.  Shelby Gallien
