Good grief that's ridiculously cool. Can't make out the writing?....1882. I'm sure there's a great story there.

Great horn Louie! Thank you for showing it here. Must have been an award for a German Scheutzen society or a Turn Verein. These shooting societies were fairly common in German settled areas in America in the 1800s. St. Louis certainly had a strong German representation, back then.
