.... Looking for good color photos of this particular Andrew Long rifle,..... friend is re-creating this one and needs color photos, especially the patch-box,... never knew about the ALR site until I recently told him about it, and has now applied to join,...told him this would be his best resource, so let's see what we can do,... !!! ... thanx, fellows,... CCF  ... (these B&W pix he sent me are from Bivins LongRifles of North Carolina book)

I too would like to have good color photos of this great Andrew Long rifle, but no one knows it's current location. It was in the Joe Kindig, Jr. collection in the 1960's.  I am currently writing a book on the Davidson Longrifle School and was hoping to include this rifle if I can find it.
