Title: Antigue folder
Post by: jdm on October 04, 2020, 01:56:52 AM
This is my first early knife . I bought it from Jerry Noble at one of the first Princeton longrifle shows.  Horn flats with great file work on the top of the blade.

JDM,
Great folder knife!  Does is hold open or closed with a cam spring?  Are the brass ends riveted to an iron plate?  Can't tell from the photos.  What is the overall length?  I've picked up some cool stuff from Jerry myself at the Princeton show.  Hate that I haven't been able to attend in awhile.

Mark, Thanks  for your interest. The knife  is 6in. closed with a 5 in. blade . Eleven overall. it has brass with metal pins  over metal with a cam type spring to hold it open or closed.I always thought it was late eiighteen century . But I like everything to be that early.

I still love the duck gun!
