Morr, Adam – ca. 1840 – Millheim Boro, Centre Co., Pa. – He was a fine craftsman and several rifles are known by Morr which show all of the characteristics of a Snyder Co. Rifle.  He signed his work “A. * Morr” and he worked in both the flint and percussion.  Morr died in Millheim in1880 at the age of 87.  He had lived there for 70 years.  It is quite probable that he learned the trade in old Union Co. before moving to Centre Co., and because his guns are clearly in the Snyder County style, he is included in this list.  Mark Laudenslager identifies a Morr (first name unknown) as having worked in Freeburg.  Adam Morr was an executor of the estate of the gunsmith Jacob Albright when he died in 1840.
