Title: Simple rustic antler pan brush
Post by: Oil Derek on March 06, 2021, 06:08:33 PM
This Ad made possible by ALR member Alacran! :) This is my humble little attempt in making a simple, functional brush.

Back in December or so, he made an offer to send out some Javelina bristles to guys interested in making some pan brushes, if he made good on an upcoming hunt. True to his word, at his cost, I graciously received a baggie full of boar bristles mid January. Thus, this is the spirit of fellow ALR members.

thank you very much Alacran!

Glad you lived up to your word and made a good looking pan brush with the bristles. I need to make some more my self.
Thanks for the kind words.

Thanks Doug, Tim and Guido.

Plenty bristles left but I've got to up my game a bunch to make one that is fitting of the recent James Rogers bag and DeCamp screw tip horn! I need to get on with lathe skills for the next ones.
