Title: Brand new old hawk

Heres one I just finished up. 2 halves of mild steel forge welded together with old file forge welded in for the cutting edge. I left some hammer marks for the nostalgia. Haft is oak with file branding and brass tacks

I admire that work.  Well done.  I wish I could learn everything but better try to focus and get good at one thing.

That's a beauty. and I like that straight grained oak handle, too.
