Is that Bill Brasky's hand? Looks to be a 44" barrel, too.

Oh my, such talent and patience!

It appears all functional. The barrel is 9” long and rifled, the internals of the lock completed. Unreal.

I don't think I could ever start a lock that small even with all the experience I have at lock making.
Beautiful miniature long rifle for all to admire.

Holy cow, unbelievable
-
One of the really difficult parts of pulling off a beautiful miniature like that is finding a piece of wood with appropriately sized curl.
-
Amazing for sure.

Impressive!..He must have some great optics...and tired eyes...
God given talent and a mind to match...
Thanks for sharing Guy's
Can feel the talent oozing out my screen.....
Time to crawl back under my rock.

Powder is getting pricy, this might make an economical squir..., mous..., ...house centipede hunting rifle.
-
I can only imagine the tooling required, it would be nice to see the rifling bench. ;) Amazing display of talent!

This fellow is where the thread came from, by our late friend Jerry Hudleson on carving.

These miniatures represent a skill set beyond even extraordinary.I MIGHT be able to make the screws for that tiny lock but that's it.I can and have made 0x80 and recently found the tap and die for this in my odd tap&die collection. The carving on those pistol grips is totally over the top and they probably exceed the value of the gun they fit.
