Congratulations
-
That's the way to hunt!
-
Fantastic! Congrats
-
That looks like a really fun hunt. Congratulations.
-
Nice Goats and guns. Congrats to both of you. :)
-
guido. Sir; Outstanding Antelope. Picture #3 says it all for that day. When I lived in Cheyenne an occasional yearly meal including Antelope was enjoyed by all. Have a great weekend. AJ.

Any antelope regardless of size is a true trophy with a flintlock. Add to that these would be fine trophies with a centerfire. Well done, well done.
-
Congratulations and well done!
I would recommend rough scoring those two bucks you might be surprised. If they're close then have them scored professionally to see if they make the Longhunter record book. They're not Boone and Crockett but very nice. I put one in the book almost 30 years ago with a flintlock and had no idea how big it was until I checked.
-
Real nice. Those are some fat bucks! Congratulations
-
Sweet! :D

Good job Uncle guido!! 8) Wy is a great place. More cattle than people. I had such a good time there,I had to stop and buy a new pair of boots. Again, good hunt and keeping the “old ways “alive. :)

Well done, both of you, guido & with flint locks - GREAT!~
-
Well done John!! I see you are off and running for this years hunt! TommyG

Congratulations, Pronghorns are Americas most exotic animal. I can see that the base of your bucks horn has at least six maybe seven inches of circumference and that is one of the most important measurements when scoring them. Great hunt!
-
Congrats to both of you. Great memories made
-
Congrats! U dont often see speed buck kills with trees around them. Very cool.
-
That is what I was thinking Keith. You never seen them near trees. Congratulations to both of you. Impressive to get a speed-goat, but to get one with a flintlock deserves high praise. Two? Doubly impressive. God Bless, Marc

I also found that little copse interesting as well.
-
He was out in the open I used trees as cover. Fun
-
Congratulations that's a great achievement and a beautiful rifle.
Would love more details on the rifle and load.
-
Both rifles 50 cal. 72 gr 3f. .015 oil cotton. Nephew's gun is on I gave him , formerly my gun! I had to borrow a clients gun I built. I need to get me one!

This is simply outstanding, Guido. Thanks for sharing. Made my day! 8)

I wrote "A Utah Pronghorn Hunt" for the Nov/Dec 2019 issue of Muzzleloader magazine. In it I describe a buck antelope going into the cottonwoods along the Green River. The understory was somewhat brushy, and I did not think the buck would have gone in there, but he must have. There is also the matter of antelope and fences. I saw antelope go through fences in Browns Park, Colorado. I think i saw them run at the fence and dive under the bottom barbed wire, but that was 37 years ago, and they may have jumped that fence.

Excellent ! Nice job on the photo as well…no blood…not bullet hole…very pleasing to look at. How far was the shot yah figure ? And a much better feeling of bagging game with the Rock Lock too !
