Title: Redding Auction Jan. 15 & 16
Post by: wabeek on January 04, 2022, 12:21:14 AM
Redding Auctions, Gettysburg, shows an interesting J. Dubbs/Daubs (?) flint pistol and some longrifles in their offerings of January 16.

JUST GO THROUGH PROXIBID AND HEAD FOR  DAY TWO OF THE REDDING AUCTION. If you have questions on any gun they offer, just call Pat Redding and he will get you a response. Note these folks are a small, but very competent group. And they charge NO BUYERS PREMIUM. I liquidated over a thousand guns and tons of ammo, parts, etc   from my buddy's estate through them and was quite pleased with all the dealings and the final settlement.

Lot 469 Redding Auctions, Jan.  16, "Invaluable " easiest to access many large photos....Dubbs pistol, his penchant for euro brass.  Nice flint pistol to my thinking!

There may be no buyer's premium, but they charge a "healthy" 15% premium for using an internet bidding site such as Invaluable, when most auction houses charge about 3%-5% for internet bidding. Shelby Gallien

Shelby, I'm not trying to sell you on Redding, but if you use a phone bid  or leave a proxy bid DIRECTLY WITH THEM, you avoid the add-on of the internet and save a LOT of money.
