This gun is re-posted , this time with a rather complete back ground story.  First posted last Fall, this gun just gets better and better every time I look at it !

That gun has particularly graceful profile for the period.  It also shows that someone , or a couple of generations, cared for it. Any comments on that running deer artwork?

Eric you're like a dang magician some of these things you can build man. Love this piece. I suspect a very happy new owner somewhere.

Is that the dilapidated house it was 'found' in?  ;)
