Title: Authentic flintlock and percussion lock castings
Post by: cshirsch on April 04, 2022, 05:27:12 PM
Authentic flintlock and percussion lock castings. I make the molds using original antique locks.  The plates, flintcocks, hammers, top jaws and screws are cast in mild 8620 steel.  All other parts are cast in 6150 steel.  I offer the frizzens as cast or carburized.  I have parts for over 20 locks in stock as well as various flintcocks and percussion hammers available.  I also stock various other castings such as chiseled sideplates, a few trigger guards, antique revolver parts, etc..  Please visit http://www.texasguntrade.com/parts.htm.  If you don't see it listed, be sure to ask as I make short run items that may not be included on the web site.  Thanks!  Chris Hirsch, gunsmith  http://www.texasguntrade.com/parts.htm
