She's done just in time for the Soddy reunion in Knoxville next Fri.

Thanks for the kind words guys.  First gun I have finished in over 10 years.  She's looking forward to attending and seeing some of her Soddy relatives and hopefully a few of the long lost elders.

 ;) ;).. you did GREAT , Ken,... I can spot a couple things on your build that are unique to the original old Soddy area match rifles that most builders miss,.. she is very nice,.. bring along your old original, too,.. we are planning to have a special area where Soddy rifles can be displayed and studied,... I will be sending you a msg later,.. "Old Mike" and I will be there to meet her,.. !!!.... by the way, good to see you back to building,.. always admired your work,.. regards,... Is the including the contemporary reproductions?

 ;) ;)... Yes,... all rifles that follow the unique Soddy area "school" of building,.. Vintage originals and contemporary re-creations,... are welcome,... match rifles or small off-hand rifles,.... bring 'em all,.. !!! ... CCF

Brother Ken,
   Great work on your Soddy !! I see you have replicated the "mystery stamp" next to the lock screw. A very nice touch!! Has there been any consensus as to the origin or meaning behind it?

There has not been a consensus on the stamp.  Glad you noticed it.  It's somewhat of a personal quest for me to come up with a plausible reason for it being on so many Soddy rifles.  I'm hoping the gathering an anticipated discussion will come up with something. 

Been thinking about getting the website back up and running again.  Thanks for mentioning it.
