Title: Horn With Single Band
Post by: Tim Crosby on July 02, 2022, 04:50:45 PM
It is about 12 3/4" around the outside curve and 11 tip-to-tip. The butt is Maple threaded 1/2-8 for the Hickory finial. It is held in by 4 wooden pegs. The tip is made up of two pieces of antler pinned together with 3 wooden pegs and to the horn with 3 move. The turned band was boiled and pressed on, it is secured with 3 Iron pins.

Nice looking horn, Tim. Threaded finial is a pretty nice touch. --JB
