Title: ink well for pocket or pouch
Post by: jdm on July 27, 2022, 05:25:18 PM
I thought some of you might like to see this. It's a small ink well ( three and a half inches long ) that could be carried in your pouch or coat pocket. A glass bottle  inside a brass case . The cork and quills are missing . The quills would fit on either side of the bottle. It's a little something different.    Jim

Nice find Jim. Very different; thank you for posting the photos. I have the brass outer case but glass is missing.  Now Know what it should look like. Thanks again.

Dick,  Thanks for your comments. I read in  one of George Newmans books where some of these were made with glass blown to fit the insides.  Jim
