I thought some of you might like to see this. It's a small ink well ( three and a half inches long ) that could be carried in your pouch or coat pocket. A glass bottle inside a brass case . The cork and quills are missing . The quills would fit on either side of the bottle. It's a little something different. Jim

Nice find Jim. Very different; thank you for posting the photos. I have the brass outer case but glass is missing. Now Know what it should look like. Thanks again.

Dick, Thanks for your comments. I read in one of George Newmans books where some of these were made with glass blown to fit the insides. Jim
