Title: Hand held vice
Post by: Robby on October 24, 2022, 11:59:11 AM
A friend of mine was an antique too collector and user of those tools. I stopped by the other day and his wife gifted me this little vice. It still works as intended, I've been using it regularly.

Beautiful. I love old tools, especially ones that I can use.

Good morning Sir. Nice gift. I believe it to be a jewelers vice. I have a couple laying around here and use them on occasion. The one shown is really old. Very handy. Have a good week. AJ.

Normally called pin vices today, for hand-turning small drills, normally.

Me again. For a great  fun read, see E-bay under " Jeweler's, Watch Makers hand vise vintage". Two pages. Many styles of hand vises. Have a great week. AJ (Jim)
