Made this small drawknife as a gift for a good friend. Blade is about 4”, made from an old rasp. Honed to razor edge.

Nice work,Dave.I think I have 2 of these in the shop and one is small.I have had them for decades and the larger one belonged to
my maternal grandfather who passed in 1972 at 99 years,11 months and 11 days.

They are handy. I have several. My favorite is a very old one made from farrier’s rasp.

David, nice work. That looks like it would be just the ticket for some early wood removal on a longrifle build.
