Title: A new Brennan rifle shows up.
Post by: EC121 on March 15, 2023, 09:20:49 PM
Here is a new Brennan rifle that escaped Alaska and made it to Alabama. A Gahagan rifle has also been added. www.bricestultzhisblog.blogspot.com

That's a good looking gun. Is that a modified early Ketland lock?

Also, is it something with my eyes, or is the groove filing at the muzzle just a little bit uneven? I know it's a perennial debate as to whether that could truly detract from accuracy, would be an interesting data point if a builder of Brennan's calibre doesn't sweat a minor variation in depth.

Jud is a new member here. Maybe he will read this and comment. That Early Ketland is an absolute shooter. All of my Jud guns have had this done and all of them shoot great!
