Title: Neat small horn
Post by: Molly on April 01, 2023, 12:20:23 AM
Not very big.  Better photos to come.  It has a family name on it but only someone who knew the family would be able to make it out.  It also has a crude drawing of a stick man with a top hat holding a gun.  There is another object that the gun seems to be pointed at but it is not clear.  There is also what might be a drawing of an arrow but that is not clear either.  Dated 1876.

It was an old auction purchase made in southern Illinois maybe 60 years ago.  The estate was one Wm Kinnikin and that is the name scratched into the horn.
