I was tired of tripping over my support stand as it was made of wood so was big and bulky. The legs spread out to far and I was always kicking it. So decided a trip to the local steel scrap yard was in order. $20 worth of plate and home to cut to length and play with the "quick tatch" welder. Super simple and easy to adjust the height. A block of wood and a leather pad to top it off.

It's a great addition and super simple to make. Obviously not my design as there are a bunch in shops on YouTube. But so handy I should of made earlier.
