Title: please id this rifle maker for me
Post by: adkmountainken on August 21, 2023, 12:31:31 AM
i picked up a Bedford County style rifle with a Russ Hamm lock. absolutely HATE the lock but thats a different story. rifle shoots great and fits me good. no makers mark anywhere to be found i did not pull the barrel as it is pinned.  were these perhaps a kit gun? looking to replace the lock ASAP. it is .45 cal and shoots dead on out to 50 yards. here is some pics.

Probably not a kit gun and this May pre-date many of the precarves which came as a stock snd barrel only. Guessing this is from the 1960s to 1970s. Nice that it shoots so well.
