Many on this forum are experts at ways of fastening metals.... There are references out there for the rest of us...but they aren't focused on gun building tasks so it is hard to make the application if you are a novice like me. Would you be willing to contribute your expertise in words and pictures about:
- methods and types of soldering for gunbuilding tasks, like barrel lugs, sights, trigger guard modification, thimbles etc
- Methods and types of brazing to make ramrod tips etc
- methods and types of welding for use on lock plates etc
It would be educational and useful to have such a reference on the site........ for me anyway......can you feel me begging??
