Wahkon Bay Tru=Brown

Does anyone know the shelf life of Wahkon Bay Tru-Brown?
I have a bottle that's been stored for about 10 years in the
basement with no temperature extremes.  Will it be good or
am I just being cheap and should get a new bottle?

Perhaps you could consider trying it out.

Ive used some ancient mixtures of AQF, browning solutions, etc.  They seem to last unlike finishes stored for a long time.

I have used some pretty old Wahkon Bay True Brown and have never experienced any problems.  In fact, I combine the contents of the old bottle with a new one as one runs low and I need to open a new one.  I think as long as the solution is kept in the brown glass bottle or out of direct sunlight and is sealed you should be good to go.

Should be OK. Try it on a peice of bare steel and see what the reaction is.

I'm not a frequent builder, so when I built my first rifle about 10 years ago , I used this and my 2nd rifle was about 7-8 years later and it worked just as well as the first time.

It will last a long time if keep out of sunlight. I have been using some that is probably 10 years old, as I got it from WCY long ago & no telling how long ago he made it.
