This one is about 11" around the outside curve. The Walnut base is about 2 1/4", it is held in with 4 steel pins. The color on the horn itself is AF, followed by light brown leather dye, quickly wiped off and then brown shoe polish, all while the horn was still hot/warm. The bands were put in a mixture of dyes/stains, heated and left to cool over night. Reheated and pulled down on the horn so they fits tight. To make sure they stay put I used two steel pins in each. Lastly the entire horn was coated with brown shoe polish and buffed with a brush.
