Keith Lisle on the blog

Keith,
Beautiful rifle on the Blog.  Once again we are blessed with some real nice TN eye candy.  Those over the comb tangs are a dream to see.

Someone in Montana is one lucky person.  I got my Birddog6 in February for my birthday, and have about 200 rounds thru it so far.  It is one fine shooting machine, but like that one on the Blog, it's so pretty I'l burst out in tears if I ding it.  Fantastic fit and finish, and Keith sends it out with extras also.  Guys at the range just ogle the over the comb tang.  It's almost as beautiful as mine. ;D

Thanks guys, I appreciate the compliments on the rifle.  I apologize for the photos not being very good. I realized too late that I had the camera set down for taking some photos to email & forgot to set it back to a larger size, thus the photos don't enlarge very much to be able to see the details well.   :-\  Tom is supposed to get some better photos of it when he gets time & possibly he will post them on here.

It was hard to let that one go, as it fit me absolutely  perfect........  Strange how you build allot of rifles & all of a sudden one just really grabs ya that this is the one.   ::) And it is sold.....

Thanks for looking at it    :)  I do appreciate it.

Very striking indeed...

And I couldn't agree more with your comment about gun fit...if you have guns which just come up and fall into place natually...then have one which does not, its immediately obvious.

Hi, my name is Tom, and I'm and Alch....Oh! wrong group !!
I'm the "lucky guy" in Montana!

The following is an excerpt from an e-mail I sent to Birddog6 today

"The rifle shoots beautifully!! Shot 20 rounds this AM at 25 yds
(about max squirrel distance for me anymore), off of crossed sticks.
HOLY CATS!!!, that is one fast lock!!! No "klatches", no problems
loading. With the supplied ball and patch, using spit for lube, my
first 5 rounds ( plus a fouling shot into the backstop) were a one
hole group at dead center, one inch low of POA. Swabbed the bore ( one
wet, one dry patch), and shot the next 5 rounds with the Swabbing
Lube. Dead center, right on POA (about the same size group you
sent....OK,,,,, yours was tighter.. :) ...)! Swabbed the bore (same
procedure as before), and fired the next five rounds. This group, I
fired with your patch grease. 5 rounds, dead center, and at POA, that
was one ragged hole, and smaller than any I had fired up to then!
Recovered patches looked great. Finished the session with a few
kneeling shots at the bottom of an old beer can. Don't think I will
touch the sights, at all!!
I will go clean the rifle now, and for the next two days, will be
in the Crazy Mountains with it all day. I'm pretty excited, as I am
MUCH more comfortable loading from a bag than a range box.
You have made me a very fine rifle. It is everything I hoped it
would be. The price, the delivery time, and most importantly, the
quality, are everything you promised! More than that..., you have been
a patient friend. Thank you so much !!!"

I would recommend Keith's work to anyone!!
