Muzzle cap Question

Hi, Does Chambersburg schools of longrifles have a grooved muzzlecap or no, especially that of John Noll? I would appreciate any help on that . Thanks

Hi, The only muzzle cap I have seen of his was on a rifle with an oct-rnd barrel and it was with out the groove.
