The Fox is a bandolier bag patterned very much like the Cherokee pouches...I really do like that style for sure...mine has a hand dyed wool
shell...early floral print cotton liner...edged in black silk trim..with hand made black wool yarn tassels under large glass trade beads along the bottom...wide swallow tailed bandolier strap in matching dyed wool, backed with matching cotton print, also bound in black silk...decorated every 3 inches or so with various trade silver brooches in a repeating pattern along the whole strap...big double twisty horn hung seperately...
more fancy than usual, but lots of the mid to late period eastern Native bandolier bags were quite fancy...I need to mount the tassels and do some beading on the strap and it will be done...maybe later this month I hope...
