%0 cal, welcome to the ALR. Do you mean .32 cal., as I've never heard of a CVA .39. I have built a couple of them for the grandkids, as they are pretty small for an adult to shoot. They shoot ok, and are fun shooters. Since most of the guys on this site aren't much into these kind of rifles (commercial, and percussion), though that's where a lot of us started many years ago. You might get more responses on this type of gun over on the Muzzleloading Forum(
www.muzzleloadingforum.com) The two I built were fun to modify, and slim down, as they like most kits have too much woodand I was able to add some incised carving. The grandkids can shoot minute of squirrel with them.
This was the last one I did about two years ago for an 11 year old granddaughter.
