hair off a tanned deerskin

I've got piece of deer hide from a taxidermist that has the hair on it;is there any way I can get the hair off of it since it's already tanned? Would like to make a hunting bag or maybe a day bag out of it. Thanks!

There may be better ways than this, but you can give it a shave, then carefully play a propane torch flame over it to finish off the stubble. I've done that on raw hides.

I did a hide with Boraxo then shaved the hair off with dog clippers.  Was going to make a bodhran but stalled out and rolled the hide up and shelved.  That was a couple years ago and it looks the same now as it did when I put it up.
Maybe get around to tanning and making something out of it, or not.
Anyhow...dog clippers.

Hair doesn't last on tanned deerskin.  I'd pull it out.  it's going to fall out anyway.
