I put this in the Announcements forum but thought some of you might like to know about this in time to make plans to attend.

Conner Prairie Interactive  History Park is hosting its 21st annual Arts & Arms Making Workshop October 9-15, 2010

Guests from all over the country enjoy a rare opportunity to work closely with some of the nation's best craftsmen in creating authentic, 19th-century crafts and trades. We offer 5 day classes, 2 ½ day classes and weekend classes as well on a variety of subjects. The class sizes are small, the facilities are well-equipped, and the classes can be taken whether you are a beginner or a pro.

New this year is an expansion of our popular horn working class with basic horn work; a 2 ½ day knifesmithing class; a weekend blacksmithing class; and a weekend class in flint knapping.

 We also offer classes in:

    * Decorative Techniques for Redware Pottery

Seems there are still spots left in almost all the classes this year.  So if anyone is on the fence, there is still room to go!

Well, as for the rifle kit class it looks like I was misinformed.  There were only 4 spots available this year and they are full.  Also, Dad and I will not be there teaching so my Big apologies to those who we love to see every year.
