I had a bit of info, I think from Jerry Hutchinson (?) on how to gold line a flash pan. It involved a series of small engraved upsets (somewhat like a rasp) that held the gold in place. He said it was very tough, but I cannot find the info via the search link. Anyone got it and could you please forward it or post it? I have let my project set for about a year and want to get after it. The last posting I had read was about the time of the lock polishing contest...
p.s I have been gone from the ALR forum for a while as a friend has had some very serious health issues, and I have been helping the family. I cannot tell you how nice it was to have a bit of time to read what everyone has been up to. I found it refreshing.
