Any books on New England Makers, other than Merrill Lindsay or Grinslades?

Drill into the Library. There is a page with "all?" the books ever? " in print on Kentuckies. This reminds me that I did not add the newest Books,: Moravian, Berks Co and NC guns.

No. Grinslade did a good job but ML is nearly worthless aside from occasionally getting the pictures that actually go with the captions on the same page.

There are bits in other books but none that I would recommend.

Hi,
There is Dwight Demerritt's "Maine Made Guns" but he mostly focused on the 19th century.

There are two books on Vermont. The older one is paperback, titled GUNSMITHS AND GUNMAKERS OF VERMONT , by Warren R. Horn. It was published in 1975. and has 75 pages.  The second book is VERMONT'S GUNSMITHS & GUNMAKERS TO 1900, by Harry Phillips & Terry Tyler, published in 2000. It is 306 pages, hardbound, and is excellent. Unfortunately it is out of print and hard to find.

There is also RHODE ISLAND ARMS MAKERS & GUNSMITHS, 1643 - 1883, by William O. Achtermier, published in 1980. It is 108 pages, hardbound.
