After you have the best load worked up its a matter of alittle at a time after shooting 5 shot groups.   Gary

Its 50 cal. Rayl bbl, 35 grs.3f goex 490 ball, .017 patch 2 and a half in group, just 6 in low  For me this is a good group with my eyes and wobbly stance. I,ll be 69 next week and still enjoy all this very much. I think this will be the best pistol I ever built. Indiana deer legal. thanks L. Joe

10" sight radius, 25 yards, 6" change in impact  change the sight .067"

Good luck Joe: If you do take it deer hunting you might want to increase the powder charge thus changing your sight/group point of impact. Happy new year    Gary

If you are going to use it for deer hunting work up a more powerful load and then adjust your sight for that load.

Good advice on working up the right load before you change the sights. A few grains will change the point of impact, so will a different patch thickness, a different lube... or two cups of coffee.

Happy New Year

Take of .067 to raise POI 6".  Test with the load you want to use for Deer and you'll find (at the distance you are likely to shoot a Deer) that there is little difference from the load your using now.
