I really like the aging you put on the head and esspecially the handle, very well done!

Bart, I notice what looks like a pin going through the head. Is this pin what is holding the axe head to the handle? And if it is, do you know if this method goes back to the 18th century? It does work for holding gun barrels to their stocks! Kind of makes sense to me :)
