Nicely engraved, but, to me at least, wishful thinking at an estimate of $20,000 to $30,000!

I just looked at the gun on the auction site, wow, a $20,000.00 to $30,000.00 estimate is way beyond wishful thinking.  I want some of what those guys are smoking, must be some great stuff (that's a joke moderators)!

It's definitely a nice rifle, but their estimate is about ten times what it should be worth.  I'm in touch with a Golcher descendant, and gave her a "heads up" on it.  She isn't about to buy it, but I'm sure she would love to see it.

Look at the description for the next item # 2151 - http://www.liveauctioneers.com/h/item/8555894?ah=306-f821e

"Colt style revolver"  - "$300 - $550.  Don't ya think those auction house idiots should do a little research?  Even a worker at Cabelas or Bass Pro would recognize a Remington when they see one.
