Go crazy awesome, without being over-the-top gaudy.
I love the little details, like the nosecap/escutcheon treatment.
Chalk up another one for Mr. Shipman!

As usual from Mr. Shipman. Great looking gun with out being too ornatet or gaudy as has already been said. Looks as it was inspired by the best features of more than one old maker and school. I like it alot. Smylee

Excellent gun, what we expect from Mr. Shipman.

Say, any of you boys smithies? Or, if not smithies per se, were you otherwise trained in the metallurgic arts before straitened circumstances forced you into a life of aimless wanderin'?

This is another one of Bill's super clean delightful rifles. All aspects are well thought out and executed. The architecture is so traditional - top notch!
A great rifle Bill, and as usual, always a great pleasure to view your work.

What blows me away is the fact that this is not a copy of any rifle...it looks SO right. Really done in the spirit of the longrifle. Wonderful rifle, kid.
