Oregon Gun Makers Fair
« on: February 08, 2011, 06:40:28 PM »
I would like to announce the Oregon Gun Makers Fair will be held April 30&May1st. There will be two, three day workshops held April 27,28 &29.  The workshops are Stock Shaping with Dave Rase and Engraving with Ron Scott.

We will be raffling off a southern mountain rifle that was part of the last three years demonstrative process.

If you email me at ronscottflintlocks@gmail.com  I can send you a printable information sheet and registration form.  Could the appropriate person make this a sticky post?

This is a premier event that anyone able to attend should be there.  Thanks Ron and team for continuing this event that has to be several decades now in age.   I attended my first one back in 92 or 93 and have been there most years since.

The workshops are always informative, the people are always sharing what they do, and the work presented is simply stunning.

Ditto what Chip said. My very first Gun Fair was Ron's many years ago. I was really hesitant to show any of my work when I saw all the great work that was on display. Everyone was very supportive and helpful. This led to attending many more events and getting involved in a wonderful hobby that has become a huge part of my life. Anyone who can should attend these events no matter where you are. There are many of these all over the country. The help with your work and the friendships you will make are priceless and will last your entire life.

Hey Ron,

I enjoyed your fair.  Provided I don't run off elsewhere, I'll see if my Uncle Bill wants to go.
