Baltimore show
« on: March 18, 2011, 12:47:12 AM »
I was just wondering if anyone is going to the Md. Arms Collectors  "Baltimore" antique arms show? What a great place to see almost any type of antique gun you can imagine on 1000 tables. If you go stop by & say hello I'm at s1&2. Great show!!

Stan -

Fred and I should be there. I'll plan on about 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. I'll likely have a longrifle in tow.

Stan & Andrea,

Nice to see you folks. Too bad you don't live a bit closer. Thanks for the temporary repair. The trigger guard is now fixed.

Nice seeing you Nord! Very nice rifle  & I'm glad I could help. As usual the show was great. It seemed to me that there were more good Kentuckies this year than the last couple of years.

I know almost nothing about firearms, but from the sword-collector's perspective this year was the weakest, in terms of both the quality and the variety. Lots and lots of composites and replicas passed as genuine. I don't know whether that was the case for the firearm collectors.

Was my first time going to the show and I was very impressed.  Lots to look at.  Was hoping for an Armstrong or two, but I think that was about the only thing I didn't see.  Looked at more orginial guns in half a day than my whole life before then!   ;D
