My son's first build

My son started shooting muzzle loaders when he was about 8 years old but recently decided to get serious about building a rifle. 15 years ago I bought two plain maple stocks and two Green Mountain .45 X 7/8 X 42" barrels from Jack Garner. I sold mine before I ever built a rifle from it but his has sat around until recently. I don't know what style or school it will be but I will keep you posted.

Greybeard, I intend on posting as he works on it. Constructive criticism is always welcom.
Doc, He has been out shooting me for years. I woulden't want him shooting at me with anything!
