Do you want an EARLY 18th century pouch or an early 18TH CENTURY pouch?
James,
In all seriousness, I'm not grasping the difference. But it has been a long day. Please enlighten me. Thanks.

Well it would make a big difference in how to reply.
1. If wanting an EARLY 18th c. pouch, that would at the very least be pre 1750 and would require going across the pond for help. I generally divide the century in thirds or fourths for discourse on many subjects.
2. Some consider ANY 18th century pouch as early as there are so few existing examples.
Just the warped way my mind works but now and then you do get someone into the earlier periods like I am.
