Henry Carlisle, Shippensburg Pa. Shot in competition in Friendship up until 1980, the grease patches are still in the patch box. There has been restoration to the stock at the rear ramrod pipe to the muzzle. It is a 40 caliber, rifle. There are 10 silver in lays, and it is incised carved at the wrist and to the rear of the cheek rest. The barrel is signed H Carlisle.
Comments:
A nice representative Carlisle with honest repairs.
