Some may have seen this before in their travels through the web.  Today was my first.  Might be something of interest here.  Varnishes, etc.

There are a couple in there that I would like to try but I don't know what dry Rose Pink or strong 96 vinegar is. Anyone know where there is a cross reference to today's names? I tried Google and didn't find anything.

Thanks for posting this.  I never would've been able to track all this down.

Have you looked in the back of a Dixie Gunworks catalog?  Seems they had a list.

Correct....just a poor job of transcription.  They probably scanned the original and ran it thru an OCR.

Hey Fellows,

If you go to the main page there are also a few dozen other books that may be of interest to you!
