Just wanted to say hi. Ive been lurking around for sometime and figured i need to post my newest bag. Its based on several bags i found in Madison Grant's book and Mr Albert's book. The horn is by Jeff Bottiger. Please feel free to comment and critique.

WOW Marty.....You about up and knocked that one out of the park. I like the way you attached the knife case on the back of the bag. That is a right nice job. Ole Tim is a pretty good instructor.   Kind Regards   Frank

That's a real nice outfit Marty!   I like the way you've attached the strap.
Are those steel buckles; and if so, where did you find them?

Draken

They are steel. I picked them up at Tandy, but they were nickel plated. So i striped the nickel off with Muratic Acid (make sure that its steel under the nickel, because brass will magically disappear in the acid. I learned that the hard way! ;D). My plan was to age them with the cold blue and Clorox method but i got too excited to finish up.

Thanks for the kind works everybody. I really enjoy making what my wife calls "muzzleloading purses."
